Thank you so much for visiting Andrew's site. I know that this nightmare is still very new to you and that at times, you may wonder what the next day will bring forward, but everything you experience is your way of dealing with the loss of your son. It is not something that we can describe, or at least I can't...this loss, this void, this ever present absence that is just there and it won't stop hurting. Yes, with time, I have begun to move forward and I thank God for that. I wondered for awhile how I could be the mother to my beautiful daughters, a wife, a daughter...a best friend....how could I be those things when Andrew was no longer here??? Your heart will lead you at the pace you can handle so just allow it to happen. If you need to cry...do so. If you find yourself laughing, don't feel guilty; Scooter is probably laughing with you. If you get so mad that you feel as if you just might explode, buy a punching bag and have at it:) And if you ever need a friend who is a little further down the road than you are right now, please let me know.
